Here's your September, 2023 Real Estate market update for Greenville, SC.
For single-family homes, there were 622 listings in total. In this month 526 single family homes were sold. The average list price for these homes was $447k, and they were sold at an average price of $441k. This is a slightly down from last month. The average number of days these homes stayed on the market was 34.
Moving on to townhomes, there were 112 listings in total. Out of these, 82 were sold. The average list price for townhomes was $318,000, and they were sold at an average price of $317,000.
Overall, there were 163 less homes on the market for sale than August. That’s a total of a 21% decrease. If you remember, there was a 30% decrease in inventory in August. So we’re still seeing a decrease in availability. As far as rates. Rates stayed fairly stable between 5.5 - 5.6%
